It was located in 20 kilometers southwest of Taiyuan’s Longshan hilltop. Grottoes carved in the early Yuan Dynasty and a holy man named Song Defang in charge of the construction of Longshan Grottoes and Haotian Taoist Temple.Now the temples were destroyed but the grottoes were existed on 8 niches in all.Every grotto has a different amount with a total of more than40,which mostly were well-preserved.The skill of carve is simple and the statues dressed professionally. It has a very different art style with Buddhist grottoes.
