Lamps from the Han Dynasty (202 BC-220 AD) feature a diverse array of forms, featuring designs such as wild goose feet, the vermilion bird, and auspicious patterns involving oxen and sheep.

One remarkable example is the "Painted Bronze Lamp in the Shape of a Goose Carrying a Fish", a 2,000-year-old bronze art piece that depicts a standing goose with its head turned back, clutching a fish in its beak.

This exquisite piece, measuring 53 cm in height and 34.5 cm in length, was unearthed in 1985 in Shuozhou, Shanxi Province, where it showcased the exceptional craftsmanship of ancient Chinese artisans. This iconic artifact is displayed at the Shuozhou Museum in Shanxi Province.
