Six cultural enterprises from Shanxi province showcased hundreds of exquisite intangible cultural heritage items and creative products at the 2026 Foire de Paris (Paris Fair), held in Paris, France, from April 30 to May 11. 

Founded in 1904, the Foire de Paris is one of Europe's oldest and most comprehensive international events. With over 120 years of history, it has evolved into a major platform that encompasses culture, technology, and trade. Each edition attracts participation from over 100 countries, with nearly 3,000 exhibitors, 3,500 brands, and 1 million visitors.

Shanxi's featured exhibits included Shanxi-style brick carvings, polished lacquerware furniture, filigree inlaid jewelry, paper-cut accessories, and other cultural creative products, all reflecting a harmonious blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary aesthetics. The Shanxi pavilion drew significant attention from cultural institutions and visitors, sparking lively exchanges and receiving enthusiastic feedback.

This participation marks a significant step in Shanxi’s efforts to promote its culture on the global stage. Through the "Shanxi Service·Serve All World" initiative presented at the fair, Shanxi aims to expand the international reach of its cultural products and services, enhancing their visibility and influence in the global market.
