Shanxi province has been actively advancing organic dry farming and promoting cross-sector integration under the "Agriculture+" model in recent years, achieving iterative upgrades in its agricultural sector.
The province launched its first-ever "Organic Dry Farming Standards for Sweet Potatoes" on April 28. Tailored to the local climate and soil conditions, these standards have achieved breakthroughs in selenium enrichment, disease prevention, and full mechanization, filling a gap in the province's organic dry farming standards for sweet potatoes and providing robust support for more industrial upgrades.

Shanxi's agriculture is evolving beyond mere production to offer a "new lifestyle" that includes agricultural culture, healthy eating, pastoral wellness, and recreational activities.
At the Yunzhu Lake Station in Yushe county, the synergy of "Agriculture + Sports" is thriving. Over 3,000 marathon runners have become tasters, experiencers, and promoters of local agricultural products, effectively converting event traffic into consumer flow for agricultural products. This fusion of sports, agriculture, and cultural tourism is propelling Shanxi's specialty goods into broader markets.
Shanxi's agriculture is breaking traditional boundaries to achieve industry integration, which serves as a vivid example of Shanxi's efforts to advance rural vitalization and modernize agriculture and rural areas.
