Geographic Location
Himeji is located in the center of the Harima Plain in southwestern Hyogo Prefecture. The city stretches approximately 36 kilometers from east to west and 55 kilometers from north to south. Its terrain transitions sequentially from mountains and hills in the north to farmland and plains in the south, where the urban center and industrial-commercial zones are situated. The city also administers several islands in the Seto Inland Sea.

Introduction
Himeji City is a city located in the southwestern part of Hyogo Prefecture (Harima region), in the western Kansai region of Japan. It is the second-largest city in Hyogo Prefecture after Kobe City.
Industry
Before World War II, the city had industries such as textiles, leather, and chemicals, which were damaged during the war. After the war, a new coastal industrial zone was developed as part of the Harima Industrial Area. Industries mainly include steel, petroleum, electrical machinery, chemicals, machinery, and food processing.
Tourism
Himeji City has a developed tourism industry. It is home to Himeji Castle, a World Heritage Site known as the "National Treasure of Japan". The Temple Genkoji on Mount Hiei in the west is also well-known, attracting numerous tourists from Japan and abroad. There are also several small islands around Himeji Port used for tourism.

There are many high schools in the city, such as: Hyogo Prefectural Himeji Industrial High School, Hyogo Prefectural Shirasagi Industrial High School and so on.
